UFC 277 Live Results: When, Where, and Who?

UFC 277 takes place on Saturday, July 30, at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The UFC 277 is topped by two championship bouts.

UFC 277 main event: Julianna Peña vs. Amanda Nunes 2

Amanda Nunes (21-5) is one of the most dominant champions in UFC history. It was quite the upset when The Ultimate Fighter 18 bantamweight winner Julianna Peña (11-4) not only took the dual-division champion’s bantamweight belt at UFC 269, but she submitted Nunes with a rear-naked choke in the second round.

Despite the definite finish, Nunes has earned her right to an immediate rematch, and she’ll get it at UFC 277. After coaching opposite one another on The Ultimate Fighter 30, Peña and Nunes top the UFC 277 fight card in Dallas. Nunes is looking to get the belt back, while Peña wants to prove that her first finish of one of the UFC’s greatest of all time was no fluke.

UFC 277 co-main event: Brandon Moreno vs. Kai Kara-France

In light of a finger injury and management change for UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo, officials opted to have former champion Brandon Moreno square off with Kai Kara-France for the UFC interim flyweight belt.

Moreno (19-6-2) is coming off of three consecutive bouts against Figueiredo. Kara-France (24-9, 1 NC) enters the bout on the heels of victories over Askar Askarov, Cody Garbrandt, and Rogério Bontorin. The winner is expected to unite the interim belt with Figueiredo’s title later this year.
