UFC welterweight contender Ian Machado Garry\u2019s thoughts on women in power rubbed UFC Belgrade headliner Uros Medic wrongly.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ian Machado Garry is weeks away from squaring off with UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev in the UFC 330 main event. Garry earned the next welterweight title shot following wins over Belal Muhammad and Carlos Prates, and he\u2019s looking to snap Makhachev\u2019s pound-for-pound reign.<\/p>\n

While Garry has upped the trash talk as UFC 330 gets closer, some of his recent interviews haven\u2019t drawn rave reviews. Commentator Brendan Schaub recently called a recent Garry sitdown one of the \u2018worst interviews he\u2019s seen\u2019 ahead of UFC 330.<\/p>\n

But it was Garry\u2019s recent remarks about something other than fighting that riled up the internet this week.<\/p>\n

Uros Medic goes off on Ian Machado Garry after claiming women should run the world<\/h2>\n

In a recent interview with High Performance<\/em>, Garry touted his wife\u2019s influence on him while claiming the world would be better run by women.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the world were run by women, we\u2019d all live in a better world,\u201d Garry said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt would all be simpler and easier. That\u2019s the fact of the matter\u2014whether you want to agree with it or not. If women ruled the world, and we just listened to them and let them take over, it would be an easier world.\u201d (h\/t MMA Fighting<\/em>)<\/p>\n

During an interview with MMA Fighting<\/em>, UFC Belgrade headliner Uros Medic was asked about Garry\u2019s comments and didn\u2019t hold back.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously he\u2019s been very vocal lately about women running the world, and I just had a message for him,\u201d Medic said of Garry.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust because his woman is running his world, it doesn\u2019t mean that women should run all the world, because men built the world. They\u2019ve given the rights to women, and they maintain the safety and freedom [of] everybody.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo if he wants to have his world run by women, I have no problem with that,\u201d Medic continued on Garry. \u201cJust don\u2019t try to impose none of that bullshit on me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Medic fights Daniel Rodriguez in the UFC Belgrade main event on Saturday.<\/p>\n
