Nascimento last fought in the Octagon in June and was one of the brightest grapplers in the flyweight division.<\/p>\n<p>Nascimento, a mainstay of the famous Chute Boxe team in Brazil, leaves behind many friends and family members who were shocked to learn of his sudden passing. One such friend was BMF titleholder Charles Oliveira, who cornered Nascimento through many of the talented flyweight\u2019s wins inside the Octagon.<\/p>\n<p>Just hours after the UFC announced Nascimento\u2019s death, Oliveira took to social media to address the heartbreaking news.<\/p>\n<h2>Charles Oliveira mourns Allan Nascimento\u2019s passing in heartbreaking message<\/h2>\n<p>In a recent <em>Instagram<\/em> story post, Oliveira shared a statement on his longtime teammate\u2019s passing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday I lost a brother that fighting gave me. Thank you forever for sharing the mats, the training, and everything we\u2019ve been through together,\u201d Oliveira said of Nascimento.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have nothing but gratitude for having you by my side, brother\u2014in training, in our corner, and in all the moments we shared. I love you, man. You were an incredible guy. I can\u2019t believe it. You will be missed a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nascimento went 4-2 inside the Octagon during his UFC tenure. He earned wins over the likes of Cody Durden, Jake Hadley and Carlos Hernandez.<\/p>\n<p>Oliveira is rumored to return to the Octagon next month against top lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 331. As of this writing, nothing has been formally announced regarding Oliveira\u2019s next fight.<\/p>\n<p>As Oliveira prepares for his next fight, he\u2019ll have his fallen friend on his mind as he looks to dedicate his next performance to Nascimento and his family.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Who should Charles Oliveira fight next?
