After recent wins over Belal Muhammad and Carlos Prates, Garry is aiming to give Makhachev the toughest test of his career and knock off the UFC\u2019s pound-for-pound king.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of UFC 330, Garry has ruffled many feathers with some of his non-fighting comments. After he recently claimed that the world would be \u2018better off with women in charge\u2019, Garry drew the ire of many of his fighting colleagues, including Makhachev and welterweight Uros Medic.<\/p>\n<p>Garry didn\u2019t help his case when his marketing campaign with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), was labeled as \u2018cringey\u2019 by many UFC fans. Perception of Garry has lessened ahead of his UFC 330 title fight.<\/p>\n<p>Former UFC star Darren Till believes Garry\u2019s perceived \u2018fakeness\u2019 is a significant barrier to his likeability.<\/p>\n<h2>Darren Till: Ian Machado Garry \u2018has fake written all over him\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>In a recent interview with <em>The Mac Life<\/em>, Till was asked about Garry\u2019s questionable media tour ahead of UFC 330.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not a hateful guy. I don\u2019t hate Ian Garry,\u201d Till said of Garry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I just think every time that guy speaks, he just absolutely tarnishes his brand, his image, by what he\u2019s talking about. Look, I\u2019m a guy for the power of the women. I have four girls\u2026Powerful women, of course, we love that, but it\u2019s just the things he says. And it\u2019s always like he\u2019s trying to buy love. If he was a bit more like me, mate, people would love him, because he\u2019s obviously a great fighter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe one thing as well, people can see and know a fake guy.
