Despite Mixed Martial Arts\u2019 strides made over the past few decades, heavyweight boxing remains a hot ticket for sports fans worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Usyk, Anthony Joshua, and Tyson Fury are considered among the greatest heavyweight boxers of the modern era. But none of them arguably have made the impact in boxing that Mike Tyson did during his prime.<\/p>\n<p>Tyson became the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight championship when he knocked out Trevor Berbick in 1986. According to UFC commentator Joe Rogan, one of the young stars in heavyweight boxing has the chance to be the modern-era version of Tyson.<\/p>\n<h2>Joe Rogan: \u2018Dynamite\u2019 Moses Itauma is this generation\u2019s Mike Tyson<\/h2>\n<p>In a recent episode of <em>The Joe Rogan Experience<\/em>, Rogan compared talented heavyweight Moses Itauma to Tyson and praised the 21-year-old\u2019s promise.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s Moses Itauma who people don\u2019t really know about enough yet; I think he is the future of boxing,\u201d Rogan said of Itauma.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWow, that guy is good; he\u2019s dynamite, he\u2019s so fast and so good. He\u2019s so slick with how he moves in and out; he\u2019s the future. I mean, he\u2019s like our generation\u2019s Mike Tyson where you watch him, and he\u2019s coming up, and you\u2019re like \u2018Holy s\u2014\u2018.\u201d (<em>h\/t Bloody Elbow<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>Itauma will fight Filip Hrgovic later this month for the IBF heavyweight championship. A win could earn Itauma a shot against the likes of Usyk, Joshua, or Fury in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>Rogan, an avid boxing fan, has his eyes on Itauma as the next potential heavyweight king.
