Former Bellator fighter Dillon Danis<\/strong> has withdrawn from his main event fight against Mike Perry<\/strong>, which was supposed to headline Duel Arena 1 this weekend (Sat., Aug. 29, 2026) inside Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.<\/p>\n Perry will remain on the card against former UFC and MVP MMA veteran Brandon Jenkins<\/strong>, who accepted the fight on roughly 48 hours\u2019 notice.<\/p>\n Perry announced Danis\u2019 withdrawal during Thursday\u2019s pre-fight press conference, delivering the update in classic \u201cPlatinum\u201d fashion.<\/p>\n \u201cThis p\u2014y-ass b\u2014h Dillon Danis didn\u2019t show the f\u2014k up,\u201d Perry said. \u201cHe\u2019s not here. He backed the f\u2014k out because he\u2019s a p\u2014y. I want to give a shoutout to my new opponent, Brandon Jenkins. He\u2019s getting on a plane right now. He\u2019s flying here to weigh in in the morning like a professional and fight me on Saturday night.\u201d<\/p>\n No reason for Danis\u2019 withdrawal has been revealed as of publication.<\/p>\n Danis most recently competed in MMA in Aug. 2025, submitting Warren Spencer<\/strong> in just 15 seconds in a squash match. He followed that victory with one-sided wrestling losses to Colby Covington<\/strong> and Khamzat Chimaev<\/strong> under the Real American Freestyle (RAF) banner.<\/p>\n Jenkins, meanwhile, will jump on a plane and attempt to save Saturday\u2019s main event. \u201cThe Human Highlight Reel\u201d most recently defeated Chris Avila<\/strong> via split decision at MVP MMA 1 in May and is more than willing to go toe-to-toe with Perry on almost no notice.<\/p>\n Perry vs. Jenkins will remain an MMA fight and headline the Duel Arena 1 pay-per-view card.<\/p>\n Once again, Danis leaves someone else to clean up his mess. This time, Jenkins gets a massive opportunity, Perry gets a willing opponent and fans still get a main event \u2014 just not the one they were sold.<\/p>\n
