A Brazilian \u201cJaguar\u201d hits the octagon once again this Saturday, as Matheus Camilo returns to take on Jai Herbert at UFC Vegas 122 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
Camilo rides a two-fight win streak into the bout, and is looking to end the fight early after knocking out Nazim Sadykhov back in June.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s a very tough opponent. Very good striking, and I come for violence,\u201d Camilo (11-3) told media outlets this week. \u201cI come for violence, I come for [a] finish.\u201d<\/p>\n
Reiterating his respect for Herbert\u2019s striking skills, Camilo later added that \u201che\u2019s long, he has an advantage on that, but I work a lot for it. And I come to finish him.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Sadykhov finish was Camilo\u2019s first in the UFC, and he noted on Wednesday that \u201cthat was just a small preview about me. I\u2019m excited to put on more, show who I am every fight. Every fight.\u201d As for his debut loss to Gabe Green, \u201cevery loss we can learn a lot, and I learned a lot from that loss against Gabe Green,\u201d stated Camilo. \u201cThat\u2019s made me who I am right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
