K\u014dichi was one of only two survivors and rebuilt a life with a woman named Noriko and the orphaned baby she rescued, Akiko. Per the official synopsis for Godzilla Minus Zero<\/em>:<\/p>\n War reduced Japan to zero, and Godzilla plunged it into minus. Two years have passed since then, and the country has faced agonizing struggles to achieve recovery and finally reclaim its daily life. Just as humanity managed to cling to a hard-won peace, a new threat strikes, crushing hope in an instant. There is no third time. Everything ends here.<\/p>\n Most of the main cast from Godzilla Minus One<\/em> are returning: Ryunosuke Kamiki as K\u014dichi; Minami Hamabe as his wife, Noriko; Sae Nagatani as Akiko; Hidetaka Yoshioka as Kenji Noda, director of the Large-Scale Disaster Response Bureau; Kuranosuke Sasaki as Seiji Akitsu, captain of the Shinsei Maru; Miou Tanaka as Tatsuo Hotta, former captain of the destroyer Yukikaze<\/em>; Sakura Ando as Sumiko \u014cta, K\u014dichi\u2019s neighbor; and Yuki Yamada as Shir\u014d Mizushima, a Shinsei Maru<\/em> crewman. The cast also includes Min Tanaka as biologist Kanji Murakami and Masami Nagasawa as Aoyama.<\/p>\n Godzilla Minus Zero<\/em> hits theaters on November 3, 2026.
