While it appears UFC matchmakers want to book Strickland in a rematch against Nassourdine Imavov, the 185-pound titleholder isn\u2019t pleased with his current pay.<\/p>\n<p>Allen was asked about Strickland\u2019s public spat with the higher-ups during the UFC Vegas 122 post-fight press conference. \u201cAll In\u201d would like to see fighter pay increased across the board, but he won\u2019t cause grief for UFC management (h\/t Bloody Elbow).<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYou\u2019ll never hear me b\u2014- about my pay, but I\u2019d love to have more money,\u201d Allen said. \u201cThe guys that don\u2019t need to fight, that can speak up, and make those stances for money, God bless you. I wish I could do that. I\u2019m just a dumb redneck from Louisiana. I\u2019m happy with what I get paid. I\u2019m doing s\u2014 people wish they could. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThere\u2019s many people where I\u2019m from that wish they could make what I make, that can do what I do. \u201cSo I\u2019m very thankful. I don\u2019t want to feel like I\u2019m greedy or something like that, but hats off to Sean for speaking up, for trying to get more money, because if you look at the scope of things based on the statistics that are out there, we are underpaid. \u201cBut f\u2014 that, I ain\u2019t trying to get canceled, at least from the bosses. I like my paycheck, f\u2014. They know I like my paycheck. I need that s\u2014. My car collection is still growing. My house is still going. I didn\u2019t mean nothing by it, Hunter [Campbell]. I apologize.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Allen competed this past Saturday in the UFC Vegas 122 main event. He halted Christian Leroy Duncan\u2019s five-fight winning streak with a guillotine choke submission in the final frame.
