With a superb arm triangle choke at BJJ Stars 19 on Friday night in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Moicano first defended a takedown attempt and ended up working from Pitbull’s guard – advancing to mount, before locking in the choke to force the tap in just under four minutes.
Moicano is set to return to the octagon on September 19th against Brian Ortega at UFC 331 in Los Angeles.
Pitbull, meanwhile, has yet to book his next MMA fight following back-to-back losses in his return to RIZIN.
Elsewhere on the card, former WSOF and ONE Championship fighter Gregor Gracie won the one-night masters grand prix, taking home a R$200,000 ($39,400) prize after picking up three submissions across four Jiu-Jitsu matches.
