Everything must come to an end.
OKTAGON “champ-champ” Will Fleury lost his Light Heavyweight title this past weekend (Sat., July 31, 2026) when he suffered a second-round knockout loss to former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Makhmud Muradov in the co-main event of OKTAGON 92 inside Central Tennis Court Stvanice in Prague, Czech Republic.
And it ended violently but early.
The first round was competitive, with Fleury using the cage to wear Muradov down before eventually dragging him to the ground for a solid two minutes. Fleury also cracked Muradov near the end of the round as the challenger worked his way back to his feet.
Had there been more time on the clock, Fleury may have finished Muradov.
However, Muradov had already shown Fleury something early that would come back to haunt him:
A nasty counter right hand.
And just 15 seconds into the second round, Muradov landed it.
Muradov flattened the Irish champion with a right hand from hell, sending Fleury crashing to the canvas. Muradov immediately pounced with follow-up shots, and the referee jumped in to stop the fight.

“I have total respect for him; he’s a legit as f—k fighter,” Fleury said during the post-fight press conference. “He’s the best naturally talented fighter in Oktagon. He showed it tonight, kept his cool.
“But I felt like I was going to break that f—ker at the start of the second round,” Fleury continued. “I showed a lack of experience. I’m going to go away and work on that, correct that mistake, come back and take that Light Heavyweight title.”
Fleury (17-4) suffered his first loss in OKTAGON and had his impressive six-fight win streak snapped. During that run, he captured both the Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight titles, defeating names like Kasim Aras, Martin Buday and Karlos Vemola along the way.
Muradov (30-8) is now 6-0 under the OKTAGON banner, with two of those wins coming before his UFC run. He is also riding a five-fight win streak overall and now adds the undisputed Light Heavyweight title to his resume.
The 36-year-old still holds the interim OKTAGON Middleweight title, too, which should lead to a massive fight against current champion Krzysztof Jotko.
