BJJ Stars 19 took place on July 31st, 2026 and the promotion put together an exciting Masters absolute tournament to crown a brand new champion. Even though everyone in the bracket was an older competitor, there were still several big names involved. There were even more in the superfights throughout the night too, starting with Livia Barasine getting a big arm-triangle choke win over Giovanna Carneiro. The main event superfight took place right before the final of the Masters tournament and that featured another impressive submission finish, as Renato Moicano also tapped out fellow MMA veteran Patricky ‘Pitbull’ Freire with an arm-triangle choke.
In the Masters tournament, only one of the early top contenders made it to the final but he did come away with the title in the end. That man was Gregor Gracie, and he was almost flawless during his run through the bracket. Gracie started out with a gi choke finish over Luis Marques before running into Filipe Carmona and earning a decision win. That proved to be his only match that went to the judges’ scorecards though, as he submitted Wellington Sebastiao with an arm-triangle choke in the next round and secured another gi choke against Leandro Maia in the final.
