Okay, so Jeff Speakman was kind of a dork, but he really sold me on Kenpo as the ultimate martial art (until Keith Hackney fumbled the ball). It also gave us B-movie legends like Mako, Al Leong, James Hong, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (he deserved better than his part tho), and Prof. Tanaka, among others.
Some really great fight scenes, too. I appreciate that Speakman wasn’t always presented as the Terminator and actually got tagged pretty good in some of the bigger fights.
