“Bodybagz” is headed to Real American Freestyle (RAF).
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold is set to compete in a Catchweight wrestling match against current top UFC 185-pound contender Joe Pyfer at RAF 13, which goes down Sat., Sept. 19, 2026, inside Watsco Center in Miami, Florida.
The wrestling promotion announced the matchup on social media.
Rockhold has had a tough go in combat sports over the past eight years.
He is currently 0-1 in the promotion and will be looking for his first win on the mats.
Meanwhile, Pyfer will be making his RAF debut when he steps onto the mat next month. “Bodybagz” was most recently in action against another former Middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, knocking him out in the main event of UFC Seattle (watch highlights)
So, yeah, his confidence is probably doing just fine.
RAF 13 will be headlined by Covington vs. Belal Muhammad, but before we get to Miami, the ultra-stacked RAF 12 is scheduled for Aug. 22 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Rockhold is still looking for his first RAF win. Pyfer is looking to add another former UFC champion to his combat sports resume.
Not a bad little wrestling match.
