Nate Diaz has shared a four-word response to Jake Paul’s recent MMA callout.
Paul called out the former UFC star in a video announcing the MVP-PFL merger. Asking Diaz to stop ducking, “El Gallo” further said:
We need to make this happen for the sport (of MMA), to change the world, to change the history and the landscape of combat sports forever.

Over a week after Paul called out Diaz, the 41-year-old has finally responded. Taking to X, he wrote, tagging Paul:
Pull the f**k up.

It is worth noting that Diaz and Paul have fought before, but not in MMA. Back in 2023, at the American Airlines Center, they fought in a professional 10-round boxing match that also marked Diaz’s debut in the sport. Paul won the fight via unanimous decision.

Jake Paul, on the other hand, hasn’t fought since his sixth-round KO loss against Anthony Joshua in December 2025. His boxing record reads 12 wins and 2 losses.

Yet to make his MMA debut, Paul would have fought back in 2023 after he signed a multi-year, multi-fight contract with the PFL that same year. However, it never came to fruition.
With Diaz accepting Paul’s callout, fans could probably witness the YouTuber-turned-boxer take on one of the OGs of the fight game inside the cage.
