Lightweights Loai Abushaar and George Staines headlined the latest installment of Dana White’s Contender Series Season 10 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, NV on Tuesday night.
Staines entered as an undefeated alum of notable promotions Oktagon MMA and Cage Warriors, two of Europe’s best. Opposite him, Arizona’s “Savage Bull” Abushaar, who while not unbeaten and found his own success on the regional circuit, competing for LFA and CFFC among others.
Bellator MMA veteran and kickboxing standout Ilias Bulaid was featured in a card-opening featherweight fight, paired up against Brazilian Erick Visconde. “The Blade” Bulaid was himself undefeated in his mixed martial arts career, and had competed for Levels Fight League, Brave CF, and UAE Warriors in addition to Bellator.
