OKTAGON 94 Breaks Viewing Records With 1.8 Million Live Viewers and 4.7 Million Content Views
OKTAGON filled a football stadium, then pulled in an audience that stretched well beyond Frankfurt. OKTAGON 94 attracted more than 1.8 million unique live viewers across its broadcast platforms, with total content views passing 4.7 million, according to figures released by the promotion. That makes it the most-watched event in the organisation’s ten-year history.
The September 26 show at Deutsche Bank Park drew 57,000 spectators, giving the anniversary celebration a stadium-sized backdrop. But the viewing records came from fans watching elsewhere, with Germany’s free-to-air RTL coverage and a new DAZN partnership helping take the action to television screens and streaming devices.

RTL broadcast the evening’s final two bouts live on its national free-to-air channel, attracting more than 922,000 unique viewers, according to OKTAGON‘s figures. Its streaming service, RTL+, added a platform record of 462,000 viewers. The DAZN agreement made the broadcast available to fans in more than 150 countries, extending access beyond the promotion’s European audience.
“Getting the two main fights onto Germany’s free-to-air RTL channel and reaching over 1.8 million viewers is a historic milestone for European MMA,” co-owner and promoter Ondřej Novotný said. He also described the event as further evidence of the organisation’s growing television presence.
The 1.8 million figure refers to unique live viewers, while the 4.7 million total covers content views.
OKTAGON’s accompanying social figures were sizeable too: 215.7 million total impressions, 71,601 new Instagram followers and a stated combined reach of 434 million across its channels, media, creators and fighters. That last number covers a different collection of accounts from the promotion’s own channels, so it is separate from the impressions total and live viewing figures.
Inside the cage, David Kozma gave Frankfurt’s Christian Eckerlin a homecoming to forget. The former welterweight champion secured a rear-naked choke at 4:58 of the first round, finishing the main event with two seconds left before the horn. It was Kozma’s third consecutive victory and took his professional record to 35-15. Max Coga beat Christian Jungwirth by unanimous decision in their German showdown, with the contest receiving the “XTB Fight of the Night” award.
Karlos Vémola supplied another talking point on his return from retirement, stopping Frederic Vosgröne with ground-and-pound at 4:50 of round two. Vosgröne entered with a 5-0 professional record; Vémola handed him his first professional MMA defeat.
