Carl Friedrik built its Carry-on from anodized aluminum, the metal behind mid-century airliners. Steel rivets and grooved lines echo that golden era of travel, while the shell develops a patina with use, so every trip leaves its mark. Anodizing hardens the metal’s surface, and the corners and hinges are steel-reinforced. Japanese-made Hinomoto wheels roll silently through the terminal, and the any-stop handle holds at whatever height you pull it. The 41-liter interior splits into a zipped garment compartment and an open side with straps and a pad to compress clothes, plus two pockets for small essentials.
