Toyota’s Land Cruiser started in 1951 as the Jeep BJ and became the Land Cruiser in 1954, once Toyota had to drop the Jeep name, which belonged to Willys-Overland. The 75th Anniversary Special Edition, built on the Land Cruiser 250, is sold through Toyota Germany and limited to 75 vehicles. It is fitted with round headlights with a retro look, 18-inch wheels, and badges at the back and in the cabin, and Smoky Blue, a paint reserved for this edition, is optional. Each buyer also receives a gift box with an enamel sign, a 1:60-scale Tomica model car, a handmade leather key fob, and an updated edition of Alexander Wohlfarth’s book Legend Land Cruiser.
