Darren Till and Yoel Romero, BKFC 94 weigh-in Credit: BKFC
Darren Till and Yoel Romero feels like a bonafide UFC headliner of yesteryear, but while the pair never met inside the octagon, they would finally throw down in bare-knuckle at BKFC 94 on Saturday.
The build-up to Till vs. Romero has been something special, including a three minute long staredown in which neither fighter was willing to look away.
At age 49, Romero remains, somehow implausibly, in peak physical form, looking as imposing as ever ahead of BKFC 94. He finished fellow UFC vet Alex Nicholson at a Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA event earlier this year, and is 1-1 in bareknuckle boxing.
Till, still in his prime more or less at 33, is 1-0 in bareknuckle, and undefeated as a boxer since parting ways with the UFC in 2022.
