This past Tuesday night (Oct. 13, 2026) marked the end of Dana White’s Contender Series Season 10, and what a season it was. When all was said and done, the big boss handed out 46 UFC contracts, four of which came from last night’s finale.
The show also featured 34 finishes, 23 of those coming in the first round. While that may point to some growing imbalance in the matchmaking or the quality of the prospects being brought in, UFC CEO White was very happy with the results.
“I love this season,” White said on social media following the end of the show. “First of all, pulled the biggest numbers we’ve ever done in the ten year history of the show. More guys turned around quicker to fight in the UFC, which I absolutely love.” ”
“I truly believe that we fould a lot of really good talent this season and I’m looking forward to seeing how they perform in the UFC.”
White was asked who his top prospects were from the season and actually had some names ready to go (on a piece of paper).
“Look back at [Bilal] Hasan, [Anthony] Wint, [Luiz] Hernandez,” White said during the post-event press conference. “Guys that turned around and actually did well in the UFC. But there’s been so many this season, 46 total contracts, so … to remember everybody is tough but I’m excited.”
Hasan went from KOing his Contender Series opponent in under a minute to KOing his first UFC opponent 18 days later. He’s now set to fight again at UFC 334 on November 14th. Anthony Wint also accepted a UFC fight 11 days after a 34 second Contender Series KO, winning by arm triangle in the first round. He then fought again at UFC 332, earning a 23 second KO. Luiz Hernandez? Went from Contender Series to UFC in 11 days.
So if you want Dana White to remember your name, answer the call when matchmakers look to turn you around quick from Contender Series to the big show!
