The August 2026 update has been applied to the Jits Magazine BJJ Rankings and the full standings can be found here. July has been a very quiet month with very few elite competitors stepping on the mats, although there was still plenty of great matches and exciting events to enjoy. Polaris 38 was probably the biggest event of the month and their welterweight grand prix was stacked, but it went exactly as the rankings would have predicted. Then right at the end of the month, BJJ Stars 19 closed things out with an entertaining Masters absolute grand prix and a few superfights in between rounds.
